BPL Mobile, a mobile service provider in Mumbai, India has introduced a mobile radio service for its subscribers. Known as ‘BPL Mobile Jukebox’, this service allows subscribers to listen to music while they are on-the-move.
Basically, BPL Mobile Jukebox is a Full-Song mobile music service that offers a variety of songs ranging from Bollywood to Devotional to English to Ghazals and from Retro to Regional tunes.
BPL’s Mobile Jukebox service is available to both post-paid and pre-paid BPL Mobile subscribers. Further, this service is accessible even on basic entry-level Non-Data enabled mobile phones.
Mr. S Subramaniam, CEO, BPL Mobile commented on the launch of this service saying, “With our new mobile music service – BPL Mobile Jukebox, we are not just making music of our subscriber’s choice affordable, but also easily accessible on their mobile phones. It addresses the mood function of each of our users and offers them a huge variety of high quality, legal music at their fingertips.”
The BPL Mobile Jukebox is very user-friendly. Moreover, it greets its listeners in their preferred language. Further, this service also allows users to store their favorite songs and even offers them their previously chosen song categories. Users can also skip songs that they may not like or they could even replay the one’s they love.
In order to use the BPL Mobile Jukebox service, the BPL subscriber has to dial 543213 to listen to the complete song chosen from the Jukebox Catalog which contains over a 1000 songs.
The service carries a monthly subscription rate of Rs.25 and charges of 50p/min from 9am to 9pm and 20p/min from 9am to 9pm.
It is notable to mention that using BPL Mobile Jukebox, listeners can even download a song as a ring tone and dedicate those songs to other at just Rs.10.
