SatNav intros One India integrated map

HYDERABAD, INDIA: Hyderabad-based IT products company SatNav Technologies today announced the launch of One India integrated map in the Indian market.

The One India integrated map covers 30+ cities in India with turn by turn directions and simple voice instructions along with a detailed national / state highway network - all included in a single map as well as several points of interest.

Detailed maps of metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad and Kolakatta are covered and cities like Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Kanpur, Nasik, Nagpur, Panaji, Patna, Bhopal and Bhubaneshwar have been added into the database.

A company release said that they have brought about 85 percent precision in their maps. Every quarter the company offers updated maps, which have been surveyed repeatedly.

For the software component, SatNav has partnered with navigation software provider Destinator Technologies.

For the hardware, SatNav has partnered with Mio Technology, provider of personal GPS devices.
