Ford has become the first car manufacturer to be awarded a Seal of Quality by the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF).
The award is for the interiors of six Ford models - the Ka, Focus, C-MAX, Mondeo (pictured), S-MAX and Galaxy - which use materials chosen for their low allergy potential. These cars are also fitted with filters which prevent pollen from entering the cabin.
The Fords had previously received certification from the German TÜV organisation for their allergy-preventing qualities.
