BANGALORE, INDIA: Infosys launched SPARK - a two-day event for women students in their fourth - sixth semester from engineering colleges across India, on the occasion of International Women's Day, on March 8.

SPARK, an IWIN (Infosys Women's Inclusivity Network) and Infosys' Campus Connect initiative, seeks to empower women from both urban and rural colleges.

Currently, through SPARK, Infosys has reached out to over 1200 students across 420 colleges in several cities including Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Mangalore, Mysore, Pune and Thiruvananthapuram.

The event will provide students with an opportunity to interact with the women leaders at Infosys and allow them to access the Campus Connect portal resources and online career counseling center.

In line with Infosys' commitment to gender inclusivity, Infosys would grow SPARK into a larger program touching 5000 students over the year.
