Acer has announced the availability of its latest laptop, named Aspire 2920, in the Indian market. A member of the unique Gemstone series, the new ultraportable notebook is merely 12.1-inch in measurement and delivers a stylish and elegant look.
Housed in a ceramic-finish pearl-grey interior and a holographic satin-finish cover, the compact 2920 is compatible with both Vista Home Premium and Linux OS. Users can now make their own choice on which operating system they want to install.
Acer boasts that the lightweight Aspire 2920 notebook is developed especially for women as it offers high performance mobility. It features a 12.1-inch WXGA Acer CrystalBrite TFT LCD display, a 2GB RAM, a 160 GB HDD, embedded DVD writer and Dolby Certified Sound System.

Powered by Intel Core2 Duo mobile processor T9300, the easy-to-carry notebook bundles wireless WiFi Link network solution, Acer CrystalBrite technology, 7.1-channel surround sound and easy-launch buttons that allows easy access to WLAN, Bluetooth, email, Internet and user-programming. It has the ability to work continuously up to 3.5 hours on a single charge.
Currently available in the country, Aspire 2920 notebook costs Rs. 37,115 for Linux models and Rs. 40,615 for Windows version, before taxes.
